A cleaner home shouldn't cost you your weekend
Cleantop started with a fairly narrow annoyance: the jobs that make a home feel clean are the ones nobody has time for, and several of them are genuinely unsafe. Nobody enjoys balancing on a ladder to reach an upstairs window. Nobody enjoys scrubbing a floor at 11pm. And an increasing number of people have realised they don't love the idea of their dinner cooking on a chemical coating either.
So we build appliances for exactly those three problems: cleaner surfaces, cleaner air, and cleaner cooking.
What we actually mean by "cleaner"
Cleaner surfaces
Our cleaning robots take on the work you shouldn't be doing by hand. The window cleaning robot holds itself onto the glass with vacuum suction and cleans the whole pane while you stand safely on the floor. Our commercial floor scrubber runs an entire building overnight without a person in it.
Cleaner air
Cooking smoke settles into a home and stays there. Our benchtop ventilation catches it beside the pan, before it reaches your curtains — no installation, no ducting, no landlord conversation.
Cleaner cooking
This is the one we're most stubborn about. Most air fryers cook food inside a non-stick coated basket, and non-stick means PFAS — the compounds people now call forever chemicals. Our answer isn't a better coating. It's no coating at all: borosilicate glass and stainless steel cooking chambers, so your food touches glass and nothing else.
How we choose what to sell
We are a small catalogue on purpose. Every product has to clear three bars before it goes on the site:
- It has to remove real work. Not shave two minutes off it — remove it.
- It has to be honest about what it can't do. You'll find limitations written into our product pages, because a return costs everyone more than a lost sale.
- It has to survive daily use. If we wouldn't put it in our own kitchen for five years, it doesn't go in yours.
